Foi divulgada nesta quarta-feira (17) a lista dos indicados ao Video Music Awards 2013, principal premiação da MTV norte-americana, que acontecerá no dia 25 de agosto, no Brooklyn, em Nova York. Com seis indicações cada, Justin Timberlake e Macklemore são os grandes nomes do VMA.
Pelo clipe de Mirros, Justin concorre nas categorias Vídeo do ano, Vídeo masculino, Vídeo pop e Melhor edição. Ele também concorre com o vídeo de Suit & Tie, como Melhor colaboração e Melhor direção.
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis está na briga com o hit Thrift Shop, nas categorias Vídeo do ano, Melhor vídeo de hip-hop, Melhor Vídeo com mensagem social, Melhor fotografia, Melhor direção e Melhor edição.
